Carry On (2011)
I Made This For You (2010)
Hop, Skip, & A Jump (2009)
Well, it's that time of year again. The time of year the leaves turn wonderful colours, the air has a crispness to it, and I, inevitably, start wearing knit sweaters again.
I've settled into Halifax for the season, so look for some Atlantic Canadian shows to sporadically follow, as well as updates about new recordings coming soon. In the meantime, I'm continuing my Molehills & Saplings series of videos showing how M+T songs come together, as well as some one-off recording of older tunes!
Hope you enjoy!

"The Mountains & The Trees - the best singer-songwriter I have heard in Canada for a long while" - Grant Lawrence (CBC Radio 3)
“If [Janes] keeps house anything like he makes music, then I’m certain he lives in a pristine and exquisitely arranged abode. [He’ll] be in your head for a long time to come, though, on that I’d bet my bottom dollar..” - Jim Di Gioia, quickbeforeitmelts.com
"Janes goes for subtlety over sizzle, but don't mistake his delicate picks and strums for uninspired or tired. Janes seems to prefer contrasting elements in a way that makes his songs stretch as far as your eye can see, but still remain as personal as the most hushed 4-track confession." - Bryan Acker, Herohill.com
